Responsibly guided by my work as a therapist, and over two decades of study and teaching in traditional wellness arts. The Arc of Sound provides both peak levels of sound and tonality and soft nurturing sounds. This is carried out with over 6 gongs, several varieties of antique and modern singing bowls and other soothing instruments. These groups begin with a highly customized movement sequence to stimulate blood and lymph flow and to help settle the nervous system for the workshop.

TESTIMONIALS
Emotional pain and discomfort can be triggers for me to want to use. John's sound baths have been key to helping me to face discomfort while internalizing that it will pass, in a safe space that promotes healing, relaxation, and community. Each time I come away from the sound bath a bit more cognizant of the temporary nature of pain and discomfort, a bit more fortified in my ability to allow it to pass without picking up, feeling supported by the recovery community around me, and always very relaxed. — Val
I have been to other sound baths but I have found that John's offerings are guided specifically towards a deep place of healing. John incorporates breathwork and gentle movement prior to the sound bath which brings the body "on line" and ready to travel. He sets the stage for an expansive journey enabling access to greater connection and awareness to my higher power and the joy of living. John's sound baths are not for the faint of heart; he takes you on an intense journey. Better than any drug I could ever take and I always sleep so deeply afterward. —Catherine C.
I don't think I fully understood what I needed in my recovery from addiction until I experienced one of John Muraco's sound baths. For years, I had been struggling not just with the physical aspects of addiction but with a deep, internal disconnect. My spirit was lost, my mind was cluttered, and my heart felt heavy. I knew I needed something more — something that would help me heal on a deeper, soul level. That’s when I found John’s sound bath, and it has truly been a pivotal part of my journey. From the moment I walked into the space, I could feel an undeniable sense of peace. John’s presence is calming and grounded, and it immediately made me feel safe, as though I had found a sanctuary where I could simply be. As the sound bowls began to play, I was surprised at how quickly the vibrations began to affect me. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. The sounds didn’t just wash over me, they moved through me — each note resonating deeply within my body, my mind, and my spirit. I’ve always believed that recovery is more than just breaking free from substances — it’s about reconnecting with your true self. Through John’s sound bath, I was able to open doors to parts of myself that had been closed off for so long. The sound frequencies seemed to reach places within me that words or therapy couldn’t touch, helping to dissolve the walls I had built up over years of pain, shame, and fear. As the vibrations continued, I felt a deep sense of release. It was as though all the emotional weight I had been carrying — all the guilt, sadness, and anxiety — was gently lifted. And in that space, I found peace. For the first time in a long time, I felt connected to something greater than myself. The sound brought me a clarity and stillness that allowed me to listen to my heart and trust the guidance of my spirit. John’s sound bath has not only supported my recovery, but it has also deepened my spiritual journey in ways I never expected. It’s as if each session brings me closer to my own inner wisdom, helping me reconnect with the divine energy within me. I’ve come to understand that recovery isn’t just about leaving addiction behind — it’s about embracing a new way of being, grounded in love, healing, and spiritual awareness. I am incredibly grateful for John Muraco and the transformative power of his sound baths. They have been a source of healing, renewal, and profound insight on my journey to recovery. I can’t put into words how much this experience has meant to me, but I know that it has been a vital part of my spiritual and emotional awakening. Thank you, John, for holding space for me and for so many others on our healing journeys. You’ve helped me find the peace and strength I needed to continue walking the path of recovery with an open heart. — Bobby
The Arc of Sound has been so instrumental in my recovery journey. In active addiction, I was constantly chasing relief from pain and discomfort through alcohol and drugs. I didn’t know how to sit with myself or feel comfortable in my own skin. The Arc of Sound has continuously held me in a safe, supportive, and loving space. The sound baths have created opportunities for me to face and then release intense emotions in a nurturing environment. I continue to be amazed at the variety of experiences I have from session to session, however I consistently notice myself confronting fear at the crescendo and then feel a wave of peace overtake my body when the session is coming to a close and the room becomes silent again. Through the Arc of Sound, I am learning how to give myself permission to feel a full spectrum of emotions and instead of running away from challenging feelings, I can now receive them with curiosity and have more awareness of areas in my life that may need further attention and healing. —Trish
